The only time of the year when there's abundance, in this dry, deciduous part of West Bengal.
When the project was started, this used to be just a scrape on the ground. With sustained water harvesting - and 'composite farming' efforts - today we have a proper pond, surrounded by lush bamboo groves.
Maintenance - a constant chore for a project with such multi-faceted activity - and we do most of it in-house.
The only time of the year when there's abundance, in this dry, deciduous part of West Bengal.
